Hi, I’m Ericka Mojica, LLPC

I am a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor. I offer in-person therapy sessions in Troy, Michigan.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, a little stuck, or just tired of pretending you’ve got it all figured out—welcome. This is a space where you don’t have to mask, over‑explain, or apologize for being exactly who you are.

I am a parent to tiny humans and loud fur babies, a sports fan, and a human who gets very distracted by anything furry or whatever I’m currently hyperfocused on. My work is collaborative, affirming, and very much with you, not at you. We’ll start where you are, talk about where you want to go, and figure out what actually works along the way.

I use a mix of evidence‑based approaches, relational work, and nervous‑system‑friendly tools—plus humor and sarcasm when it fits. I also specialize in the mind–body connection. As a certified corrective exercise specialist focused on chronic pain, posture, and fascia, I sometimes bring movement and somatic awareness into sessions. (Don’t worry—this isn’t a surprise workout.)

My own experiences with chronic pain, trauma, and mental health challenges taught me early on that healing isn’t just about changing thoughts—it’s about listening to the body, the nervous system, and the parts of you that are doing their best to keep you going.

I work with folks navigating neurodiversity, anxiety, depression, trauma, identity exploration, and life transitions. I have experience working with veterans and understand the unique layers of military culture, service-related trauma, and identity shifts. I also proudly provide LGBTQ+ affirming care and strive to create a space where your gender identity, sexual orientation, relationships, and lived experiences are respected and celebrated. Whether you’re out, questioning, not out, or somewhere in between—you belong here.

If you’re also parenting a neurodivergent child, exploring your own “neurospicy” identity, or just looking for a brave, compassionate place to land, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
